Throughout grade 11, there is more emphasis on complex sentence structures and additional verb tenses. This enables students to gain further ability in pronunciation, conversation, grammar and vocabulary. The communication topics are then expanded upon and there is an increased stress on reading and writing skills. Throughout the years, students will continue to expand their vocabulary through dialogues and essays. They will continue to learn more grammar; however, more emphasis will be placed on speaking, reading and writing on their own. They will read short stories and discuss them in French, and/or write summaries in French.
